She had so much fun! Kylee loves to be my little helper in EVERYTHING. Sometimes it's so hard to just let her do it and get paint everywhere and learn. =) But it's worth it.... My mom came over a couple nights last week and helped me hammer this out. She is the best painter and it's fun spending time together. It's wierd without my baby sister I must say. I can't think of one room I've decorated/painted that she hasn't been by my side. Maybe that's why I've put off decorating my house all year? These are some fun pictures from last year when we painted my hallway....

You guys don't understand what a nightmare it was to organize ALL my horendous clothes, move furniture out of the room, clean it, etc. I had a lot of clothes to deal with because of all the hand me downs I got out of Amy's closet.

So that was very relieving once I got that out of the way. I was able to finally finish a project!

What do you guys think about the bedroom? Is it over the top? It is so romantical and I love the colors, but not sure if I went over board. The quilt is also such a special quilt. I really wanted to use that as the inspiration for the colors. (Reds, gold tones, and the paint color.)

Amy gave me that quilt for Christmas a couple years ago. We both used to work for Sundance Catalog and I would always tell her how much I wanted it but it was so dang expensive. She must have bought it in like May because once I was ready to buy the quilt for my birthday in June, it was sold out! So I bawled when I opened it on Christmas day.

She was the best present giver.
